About the Workplace

Myrans Preschool has four departments with 18 children in groups aged 1–5 years. The preschool is nicely situated in a quiet residential area where the playground is spacious with good play areas, and the forest is just outside the fence.

Job Responsibilities

On this department, there are children with needs for special support. The role means that you will be one of the educators in the group where you share responsibility for all children, rather than being assigned to a specific child. Experience with insulin/diabetes management is a merit.

Qualifications

Experience working in preschool, a childcare education, or other experience deemed suitable by the employer. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is highly valued. Within the framework of the National Minorities Act, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for the Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish languages. Knowledge of any of these languages is a merit when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

A valid extract from the police criminal record is mandatory, which can be requested via Polisen.se.

Working Hours/Duration

Fixed-term employment, full-time. Period: 2026-08-03 to 2027-02-01 with a high possibility of extension.
