The outpatient care unit is responsible for children and young people at risk, children who are suffering or need support, as well as parents who need support in their parental role or in cooperation with the other parent. The outpatient care unit also works with social psychiatry and adult/addiction/treatment issues.

We aim to be available to help in difficult situations where support and guidance are needed to find solutions.

About you:

We are looking for you who have education in social pedagogy, treatment pedagogy, alcohol and drug therapy, or other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience from support and treatment work is meritorious.

You have a good ability to collaborate with both internal and external parties. Personal suitability is highly valued.

The role requires proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. As we are the administrative municipality for Finnish and Meänkieli, it is also meritorious if you speak any of these languages.

Your responsibilities:

The assignment consists of preventive and outreach work, early interventions, and treatment based on evidence-based methods. You execute decisions on behalf of social secretaries. Other administrative tasks may occur.

Employment conditions:

The position is permanent and full-time. Probation may apply.
