Are you looking for an exciting and varied job where you have the opportunity to make a difference for families? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for!
About the Team
Our team organization consists of a reception team, two authority teams focusing on individuals and families respectively, and a team comprising consolidated outpatient care. The authority teams work with multidisciplinary competence, meaning several different specializations are represented and they collaborate closely around the client, which also contributes to a secure and developing work environment for employees.
At the Family Team, we work with the whole family, which for various reasons may need support and help to achieve a functioning life situation. The team consists of two team leaders, one senior social secretary, and case workers with broad competence within social work in general and specialized competence in areas such as financial assistance, children & youth, family law & paternity, foster homes, domestic violence, as well as addiction & mental health. Together with the other teams within IFO (Individual and Family Care), we run and develop an organization built to focus on the individual and the family.
Here, you will become an important part of a multidisciplinary team of 28 people who, based on their different areas of expertise, work together with the goal of creating a functioning whole for the families we meet.
Employment Conditions
As an employee at the Family Team, you have a flexible working hours agreement and some possibility to work remotely occasionally. The municipality also offers holiday swapping.
We encourage a good balance between work and leisure and value our employees' health, which is why we offer both wellness time and a wellness allowance, as well as a well-equipped, completely free gym on the premises.
Normal working hours are between 07:45-16:00.
Employment Type: Fixed-term contract for 1 year (Duration: 6 months or longer).
Number of positions: 1
Job Responsibilities
The work consists of planning, investigation, case processing, and documentation, decision-making, follow-up of measures, and other authority activities. The tasks are varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful. The team's employees are dedicated individuals driven by making a difference with their work.
This position is one of two case workers who work to provide support primarily to adults with substance abuse/addiction and/or mental health issues. There may also be elements of work tasks within the Domestic Violence area.
Requirements and Qualifications
We are looking for you who want to develop together with us in our meaningful work for families in Boden.
You who apply for the position have a degree in social work or equivalent education and preferably experience as a social secretary within authority activities. It is meritorious if you have experience working within authority activities focused specifically on adults and are well-versed in the legislation regarding interventions within the Social Services Act (SoL) and current coercive legislation (LVU & LVM).
You should be confident in your professional role and have a desire to develop the operations together with your colleagues. You are structured and enjoy collaborating but also have the ability to work independently and solution-focused.
We place great importance on personal suitability to maintain our good work environment. As a person, you enjoy being a team player; you are humble and tolerant, and can both listen and inspire others.
We strive for an even gender and age distribution and see strength in diversity. It is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, but it is also meritorious if you have knowledge of additional languages and/or experience with other cultures.
