About the Workplace

Rainbow Preschool is beautifully situated by the Vassara River. It is an age-segregated preschool with six departments spread over two floors, one of which is a minority language department. There is a common dining hall in the building, and we have a large yard that offers a pleasant outdoor environment for the children.

Working at the preschool is a challenging, exciting, and creative job performed in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams.

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute teacher (husvikarie) with us, you will be placed at a minority language department on Mondays and Fridays. On other days, your placement will vary depending on the daily needs of the preschool.

This is a varied role where you will have the opportunity to engage with the entire operation, from the youngest children to the oldest.

You will be involved in implementing activities planned according to the Swedish National Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö).

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, flexible, and has a professional attitude.

Experience from working in a preschool is considered a positive asset!

Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish according to the national Minority Language Act. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

A certificate of no criminal record (extract from the Police Register), which you can apply for at Polisen.se, is a requirement. The certificate must be presented before employment begins.
