We welcome you to our team, characterized by close teamwork where we support and develop each other, with an experienced team leader who is available in your daily work life. In addition, we offer process guidance and flexibility regarding the workplace, where we offer remote work according to the municipality's current agreement.

The Individual and Family Care department consists of work groups for children and youth, family law, economic assistance, harmful use and addiction, as well as administration. The organization also includes personal representatives and assistance handlers. The unit is relatively small, and all work groups work closely together.

On-call duties and longer official travel occur, with compensation according to the current agreement. A day off after on-call duty is covered by the employer. With current staffing, this means you will get 7 extra days off per year.

The assignment to investigate children and young people is our most complex assignment within IFO (Individual and Family Care). We apply individual salary setting based on market-driven wages and the complexity of the assignment. This means we guarantee you a significantly higher salary than what is normally offered for similar assignments, based on your experience and competence. Salary range from 43,000 SEK for newly graduated to significantly more for you with experience. We want to work together with you and are prepared to pay a market-based salary that stands out. Area of Work and Responsibilities

As a Social Secretary in Children and Youth at Arvidsjaur Municipality, your work will be crucial in strengthening and protecting our young citizens. Your main responsibilities will include investigating and assessing the support needs of children and young people, planning and implementing interventions, and collaborating with other professional groups and authorities to ensure the well-being of children.

Qualifications and Competence

You who apply have:

  • A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree) or another relevant university education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of legislation and guidelines within social work.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself clearly and structured in speech and writing.
  • You are good at building relationships, flexible, cooperative, and have good communication skills.

Meritorious for the position are:

  • Class B driver's license
  • Documentation and computer skills
  • Experience with public authority tasks
  • Experience with BBIC
  • Experience with the system Pulsen Combine
  • Experience working with children and young people

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As an employee within the municipality's social services, you must be able to provide a police certificate as part of the recruitment process.
