ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a summer temporary position with our client in Luleå. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends.
The working hours are as follows:
- 06:45–10:00
- 13:30–00:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a 58-year-old man living in his own apartment in central Luleå. He is paralyzed from the chest down and therefore needs support in his daily life. The client works as a salesperson during the day and has a burning interest in sports and athletics in all its forms, which he enjoys following on TV. As a former elite athlete in hockey, physical training is an important and natural part of his life. As a personal assistant, you will accompany him to the gym or sports hall a couple of times a week to support and enable training and physical activity.
The duties include:
- Support with household chores
- Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing
- Mobility and transfers
The client uses a wheelchair and a shower chair.
ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a man or woman aged approximately 20–50 who is responsible, diligent, and has a good work ethic. To thrive in this role, we would appreciate that you have a genuine interest in sports or a personal sports background. Since the client appreciates order and structure, we want you to be tidy, organized, and to have a responsive and professional attitude.

REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
MERITS
- Driver's license and access to a car
- Experience working as a personal assistant/other care experience
- Care education or equivalent
Employment level: Summer temporary position, hourly temporary work as needed
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you must present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
