Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You value the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for you who are sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Willing to work for a 56-year-old man living in Luleå

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Can cycle (The client enjoys outings and uses a Permobil; as an assistant, you cycle alongside on an assisted bicycle)

• Have good physical fitness and can perform heavy lifting

The following is also meritorious:

• Experience in similar work

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary:

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working on an as-needed basis with varying hours during the day and evening, both on weekdays and weekends.

The working hours are as follows: Weekdays 07:00–16:00 or 16:00–22:00. On weekends 09:00–22:00 (if not split into two shifts).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
