We are now looking for an HR Assistant for a combined position at both Ästad Vingård and Varbergs Kusthotell! The HR responsibilities will focus on scheduling and recruitment. The role also includes working every other weekend.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is full-time (100%). The duties will include:

• Scheduling and workforce planning in Caspeco.
• Handling absences (sick leave notifications).
• Recruitment: writing job ads, publishing in appropriate channels, managing selections, and conducting interviews.
• Planning onboarding and introductions.
• Coordinating additional staff, substitutes, and seasonal employees.
• Ongoing HR administration and contact with managers and employees.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

• Has an HR education.
• Has previous experience in a similar HR administrative role, preferably within the hotel or restaurant industry, or has worked in another role within the hotel and restaurant sector.
• Is very comfortable working in digital systems, preferably with scheduling and personnel administration.
• Is self-motivated, structured, and able to handle multiple parallel tasks.
• Thrives in a service-oriented role with many contact points.
• Has good communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Additional merits include experience with Caspeco and/or Visbook, experience working in companies with collective agreements within the Hotel & Restaurant Union, and experience recruiting seasonal staff and extra workers.

Unfortunately, there is no local public transport to Ästad Vingård. A driver's license and access to a car are therefore almost a requirement for this position.

ABOUT ÄSTAD VINGÅRD & VARBERGS KUSTHOTELL

Ästad Vingård is one of Sweden's largest vineyards with organic wine production. We have been growing organic grapes since 2011 and produce our own wines. The estate features 82 rooms for overnight guests as well as Sinnenas Spa. Adjacent to Ästad Vingård is also Restaurant ÄNG, which holds one star in the Michelin Guide.

The historic Varbergs Kusthotell has been operated by Ästad Vingård since 2025. It features 157 hotel rooms, 13 conference rooms, and Restaurant Severins. The hotel's spa is currently being expanded in various stages to eventually become Sweden's best spa destination.
