We are currently looking for a consultant for an educational assignment at a university college in Stockholm. This role is ideal for you if you have extensive experience in networking and network security and enjoy combining technical expertise with pedagogy.

Your Role

As an educator, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and examining the course "Network Security." You will teach students in areas such as network architecture, secure communication, firewalls, VPN solutions, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct teaching according to the course syllabus
• Deliver theoretical lectures and practical laboratory sessions
• Develop and administer examinations
• Provide feedback and support to students
• Evaluate and grade course modules
• Document course results and collaborate with educational leaders
• Contribute to an engaging and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in networking and network security
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and subnetting
• Experience with VPN, firewalls, access lists, and network segmentation
• Experience in troubleshooting and network analysis
• Proficiency in tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, or similar
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a pedagogical manner
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an educator, teacher, or course leader
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or equivalent
• Experience in IT security work or cybersecurity projects
• Experience from university colleges, universities, or other adult education

Location

Stockholm. Teaching is primarily conducted on-site with opportunities for some digital components.

Schedule and Scope

• Course: Network Security
• Period: Week 42–49, Autumn term 2026
• Scope: 120 teaching hours
• Consultancy assignment
