In the middle school grades, we build upon the foundation laid during the lower primary years. About the Position

We are now looking for an engaged and certified teacher for 80% of a full-time position to teach in Grade 5.

As a teacher here, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, while also contributing to creating a safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environment.

Here, you are never alone in your mission. In this role, you will work together with another teacher in the class, providing excellent opportunities for joint planning, experience sharing, and collegial support. We believe that close collaboration between educators creates the best conditions for both student development and a sustainable work environment.

Responsibilities

The position includes:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching according to the current curriculum.
• Adapting teaching to students' individual needs and prerequisites.
• Assessing, documenting, and following up on students' knowledge development.
• Conducting formative and summative assessments.
• Being responsible for development conferences and documentation.
• Collaborating with guardians.
• Collaborating with colleagues, student health services, and school leadership.
• Actively participating in the school's development work.
• Contributing to a safe school environment with good study conditions.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Certification as a teacher with eligibility to teach in grades 4–6.
• Eligibility in Swedish, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences is meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the curriculum, assessment, and documentation.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience teaching in middle school.
• Experience with formative assessment and differentiated instruction.
• Experience working in digital learning environments.

Employment Type
