About Kulturama Gymnasium
Kulturama Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school. Together with Kulturama's arts and culture vocational training (YH) and Kulturama Primary Schools, the main sponsor is the Adult Education Association Medborgarskolan in the Stockholm region. Kulturama Gymnasium Hammarby Sjöstad offers the Arts Programme with 10 different profiles and the Natural Science Programme with three special variants within artistic expression. Our programmes are university-preparatory, preparing students for artistic and theoretical higher education. Students come from all over the country to study with us. The theoretical, common secondary school subjects train students in maintaining a scientific approach, critical examination, and analysis. The teachers are qualified and dedicated. Teaching is based on collaborative work with aesthetic learning processes and learning assessment. Students reflect on their learning, work with aesthetic forms of expression, and together with others create an understanding of both themselves and their surroundings.

Job Description
Teaching in Natural Science for a substitute position covering 36%. You will be part of a subject group that meets regularly. Joint planning and joint assessment are applied.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are certified and qualified to teach Natural Science at the upper secondary level. You have a good ability to lead and organize teaching. You believe that working with aesthetic forms of expression is part of teaching. You have high expectations of students and assume that all students can learn and develop. You adapt teaching to the students' needs. You involve the student in the planning and have a good ability to develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and in groups. You see collegial learning as a natural starting point for creating new and deep knowledge. You have good computer skills and use digital tools in teaching.

Personal Qualities
You are independent and structured, and good at planning, prioritizing, and following up on your work. You also have good communication skills, enjoy teaching and developing your work, and are a good colleague. If you have personal experience with aesthetic forms of expression, it is an advantage as this is the common denominator at Kulturama.

Position and Scope
The substitute position covers 36% with a start date of August 10, 2026. The position is a substitute role during the 2026–27 academic year.
