In August 2021, we launched RWS Bagartorp. The school currently has approximately 420 students in grades 7–9. Located in the heart of the rapidly developing Bagartorp district, we operate under the motto "The School in the Village." In close proximity to the school, you will find our preschool, RWF Järvastaden, with over 200 children, and our primary school, RWS Järvastaden, with over 800 students.

We are a positive team that enjoys developing together. We actively work on good leadership and building trusting relationships, which form the foundation for well-being and effective learning. Our new, bright facilities also contribute to a positive learning environment.

The school has a health profile, and we view physical activity as a prerequisite for learning.

We are now looking for a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO).

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in special education or equivalent qualifications.
• Has experience working with students requiring special support.
• Has good knowledge of the school's governing documents and current research in special education.
• Is a skilled educational leader capable of inspiring and mentoring others.
• Is solution-focused, flexible, and has strong collaborative skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing student needs and supporting teachers in adapting instruction.
• Leading and coordinating the school's work on additional adjustments and special support.
• Mentoring and supporting teaching staff regarding students in need of support.
• Participating in and contributing to the Student Health Team's work.
• Conducting pedagogical assessments and proposing interventions based on analysis and research.
• Serving in an advisory role to the school leadership on matters related to accessible teaching and inclusive practices.
• Leading, organizing, and working with students in the school's studio activities.

This is a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period.

The position starts in August 2026 or as agreed.
