Our client is a positive young man who has a developmental delay that affects his motor skills and communication. He lives in Båstad with his mother, father, and three younger siblings. The family leads an active and meaningful daily life, where you as an assistant are an active participant. Helping with physiotherapy, during meals, and activities such as cycling are some of the tasks. As a form of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), signs and pictures (TAKK/AKK) are used. Experience with this is a plus but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are attentive, learn to interpret our client's expressions and body language, and connect well with him and his family. We will teach you the rest.

Who are you?

You are expected to have strong empathy and a good understanding of what appropriate interaction entails. You have plenty of energy, patience, and enjoy being outdoors. There is some lifting and floor-level activities involved, so you need to be in good physical shape and enjoy activating our client. You are positive and loyal in your work and can interact well with our client and his family. Your workplace is in Båstad.

Education and/or experience working with children and/or in someone's home is a merit. The work includes daytime, evenings, and weekends.
