Hemnovia is now looking for a dedicated family therapist on an hourly basis for our outpatient services in Växjö and surrounding areas!

About the role

The role of family therapist involves close work with a child/young person and their family who are in need of continuous practical and emotional support.

The role involves relationship-based work with a focus on:

• Providing the child/young person and family with daily support and guidance in everyday life
• Supporting guardians in their parenting role
• Providing the child/young person with emotional support based on past experiences
• Maintaining close dialogue with guardians
• Collaborating with actors surrounding the family and the client

Scope

The role involves work where the number of hours is regulated based on needs and development over time. The work takes place both individually with the child/young person and in close collaboration with the family, the client, and Hemnovia.

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a social worker, social pedagogue, behavioral scientist, or has equivalent relevant education
• Has experience working with children/young people with ADHD/ASD (NPF) and trauma
• Is secure, clear, and relationship-building
• Can work independently and in a structured manner
• Is flexible and has the opportunity for continuous and close contact

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience in youth/family treatment in outpatient care
• Experience with ADHD/ASD and trauma
• Experience in motivational work (e.g., MI)
