About Tranemo Upper Secondary School

Tranemo Upper Secondary School is a small school with nine national programs as well as Introduction programs. In total, we have approximately 350 young students. We have qualified and inspiring staff as well as a warm and social culture at the school. Our guiding word at the school is "Together". We strive to create a holistic view of the students' knowledge development and needs. Meeting each student from a relational perspective and having high, reasonable expectations for each individual is fundamental to us.

You will be part of subject groups with colleagues in the same subjects, where you, independently and together with your colleagues, systematically plan, implement, follow up, and analyze teaching.

The position includes a mentorship role, which implies close collaboration with the student welfare service and the principal, to support the students' development and goal achievement. Your work will be an important part in helping students grow and succeed.

Teach economic subjects at the Economics Program and the Sales and Service Program.
Be a supervisor and teacher in UF (Young Entrepreneurship).
Be a mentor at the Economics Program.

Qualifications

Qualified upper secondary school teacher in economics or education and experience deemed suitable by the employer.

We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher with eligibility in economic subjects, where experience of upper secondary teaching is meritorious. We place great importance on your personal suitability. You understand the importance of adapting teaching based on the students' needs. You see opportunities, are creative and create trusting relationships, work independently and have good leadership skills in and outside the classroom.
