At the school, you are part of a teaching team in a specific grade level, but you teach all grade levels. This is all done in close collaboration with students and all staff at the school.

Båtsmansskolan is a primary school with approximately 190 students in grades 7-9, as well as a municipal special needs education (SNU) group. A strong "we-feeling" prevails at the school where all adults are equally important for the students' success. The school focuses heavily on participation and finding success factors for student learning. It is a school with motivated students where we work with a strong focus on relationships. The school works partly cross-curricularly and with several thematic directions each school year.

Your assignment

We are looking for a teacher who will teach French, but there is also an opportunity for teaching technology. The position is permanent, 50 to 60%. In addition to teaching the language elective in grades 7-9, you will also teach the language elective for grade 6 students who come to Båtsmansskolan for their instruction. You will work together with colleagues in a teaching team.

The teachers work in three teaching teams annually, where you belong with the teachers in grade 9. To create security and collaboration, the classes consist of approximately 20 students. In the teaching team, we work closely together and close to the students.

Requirements for the position

You are trained as a French teacher.
You are qualified to teach French in primary school.
You have good cooperation skills.
You are flexible and can inspire and engage students.
You are mission-aware and work goal-oriented.
You use digital tools as a natural part of the pedagogical work.

Experience working as a teacher is meritorious. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also become relevant depending on the position.
