We are now looking for dedicated employees for both fixed-term positions and permanent positions. Employment is planned to start from October, and the fixed-term positions extend to April/May, with good opportunities for extension. The positions involve shift work with a full-time engagement (100%).

What does the role entail?

As a security controller, you work with service and security tasks within the airport area and have constant contact with people who are traveling. You meet people from all over the world daily and become an important part of a dedicated team that together creates a safe and smooth experience for passengers and visitors. In this role, you are responsible for preventing and detecting potential threats through thorough checks of passengers, baggage, goods, and vehicles. You contribute to a safe environment and efficient flows at the airport.

Examples of additional tasks:

• Help and guide our passengers during check-in and arrival service
• Provide our passengers with service at the gate before boarding and create the best start to their journey
• Participate in security work through monitoring and patrolling
• Contribute to a pleasant environment through cleaning, which involves daily cleaning of terminal areas, staff areas, and customer areas

The work pace is adapted to air traffic and varies between periods of high tempo and calmer moments. Before the start of employment, you will undergo one week of paid basic training where the learning pace is high. We will provide further training during your employment, including in various aspects of security control and check-in.

Who are you? We are looking for you who have:

• A valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
• A strong interest in service

Since the airport is open almost around the clock, you need to be flexible and able to work varying hours. Speaking languages other than Swedish and English is an advantage. If you have experience in service, it is a big plus, but we also value your engagement and willingness to learn.

The work requires that you are security-conscious and meticulous, as safety is always the focus. You thrive in a varying pace where it is sometimes very intense, and can take own responsibility and drive the work forward during calmer periods. You have a natural ability to take initiative and solve problems. Teamwork is key for us, so it is important that you enjoy collaborating and contribute to a great team spirit.
