About the Role

Do you want to join us for the summer of 2026 with good opportunities for continued employment and year-round work? Can you see yourself in the security industry? We can! Put on the uniform with us and discover a socially important operation with a wonderful sense of community and good development opportunities. If you are hired and are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training. The security guard training is two weeks long, so you must be available to complete it and have 100% attendance during the training. The training may take place in another location.

The position is a summer temporary assignment, so we would like you to be available for work between weeks 25–32. Securitas will assign you a schedule so that you can plan your summer well in advance with both work and enjoyable activities! Whether you want to work day or night, at a high pace or in a calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a security guard is perfect for you if you like working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our office in Boden, you will become part of a tight-knit team. The length of work shifts varies but is often 12-hour shifts, either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

As a patrol security guard, you are responsible for performing security duties at several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area surveillance, indoor patrolling, alarm connections, and client lock-ups. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with significant responsibility. The role of patrol security guard suits you if you want a job where you get to move around. Working hours are primarily at night.

As a stationary security guard, you provide safety on-site at one of our clients. Depending on which client you are at, the tasks may vary. You might work as a receptionist at a larger company or perform security duties such as checking people entering and exiting, patrolling, alarm handling, and CCTV monitoring. Regardless of which client you work for, your main task is to be attentive and ensure everything is in order. You work independently and under your own responsibility, usually both day and night.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of upper secondary school.
• Category B driver's license.

Meritorious if you

• Have worked with similar tasks previously.
• Have completed approved security guard training, VU1 and VU2.
• Have a civil or military protective guard training.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have approved grades from upper secondary school in Swedish and English, as well as be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and potential vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and terms of employment are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
