About the role
Do you want to be part of a global organization with strong values and a socially important mission? Then this might be the right opportunity for you! We are now looking for an HSE Specialist (Health, Safety & Environment) for our production facility in Alvik, Luleå.
In the role of HSE Specialist, you will work both operationally and strategically to develop, implement, and follow up on activities within occupational health, safety, and the environment. You will be a key support to the business and contribute to ensuring a safe, sustainable, and secure workplace. We aim to exceed compliance requirements for environmental and occupational health standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on activities and initiatives within the HSE area.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety rounds, risk analyses, and investigations according to established procedures and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, Baxter standards, and internal and external audits, such as ISO 14001.
- Participate in and drive improvement work and preventive safety measures.
- Support and train managers and employees on HSE matters and contribute to developing safety culture.
- Ensure correct documentation and follow-up in management systems and other HSE-related systems.
- Stay updated on new legal requirements, standards, and trends in the HSE field.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have relevant post-secondary education in occupational health, environment, safety, or a related field, along with documented experience in HSE work and relevant standards. You have at least three years of independent work experience in HSE, preferably from manufacturing industry or similar operations. Experience from international or global organizations is an advantage.
As a person, you are structured, driven, and solution-oriented. You have strong analytical skills and thrive in collaborative environments where you can create engagement within the organization. You work independently, take initiative, and communicate easily with different functions and levels within the business.
You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package and very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
