We are now looking for a KMA Manager (Quality, Environment, and Working Environment) at Nordia in Luleå who wants to drive improvements and strengthen safety culture.

Nordia is a Norrland-based contractor with broad expertise in construction, earthworks, and civil engineering, working to create value through efficient and sustainable solutions.

We are currently recruiting a KMA Manager for Nordia, based in Luleå. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the company's work within quality, environment, and working environment (KMA) and report directly to the CEO. The assignment is both strategic and operational – you will develop working methods and management systems while supporting the organization close to production to ensure compliance with legal requirements, customer requirements, and internal goals. The role is central to creating a safe workplace, high quality in deliveries, and a more sustainable and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

As the KMA Manager/Head of KMA, you drive KMA work forward by developing, coordinating, and following up on routines, processes, and systems. You work actively with systematic work environment management (SAM), conduct safety rounds, risk assessments, and inspections, as well as investigate incidents/accidents and ensure that corrective actions are implemented. In parallel, you are responsible for keeping the quality management system up to date and ensuring that projects follow contractual requirements and internal processes, including deviation management, self-control, and quality assurance. Within the environmental sector, you drive the company's environmental and sustainability work, establish and follow up on environmental plans, coordinate environmental reporting, and work with issues such as waste, chemicals, and climate impact. You coordinate internal and external audits, produce key figures/reports, and act as the contact person for authorities, customers, and external auditors.

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education in construction, work environment, environment, or quality
• Experience of KMA work within the construction and/or civil engineering industry
• Experience with management systems and audits (internal/external)
• Good knowledge of the Work Environment Act and relevant AFS regulations
• Good understanding of construction processes/contracting activities as well as authority requirements related to work environment at construction sites
• Very good administrative and documentation skills
• Good Swedish language skills in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious:

• Education/knowledge within ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
• Experience with environmental certifications and/or sustainable construction
• Knowledge within contracting law and industry requirements
