Job Description

As a Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. You work closely with the team leader and colleagues in the payroll office to administer payroll payments, reporting, and support to employees. Your role includes handling payroll-related matters, expenses, advances, and system administration. Together with your colleagues in the payroll office, you support the authority in questions related to salary and other compensations. The assignment involves working with the entire payroll chain up to the payroll run (e.g., expense reports, corrections, driving logs, various leaves, benefits, certificates, and checks).

We see that you have worked as a Payroll Administrator for at least 3 years (within the last 5 years) and have good knowledge of economic systems, collective agreements, payroll systems, and have education within payroll.

Responsibilities

  • process and check payroll documents
  • generate payroll lists
  • generate reports and statistics
  • report taxes and employer contributions
  • compile time and absence reports
  • answer questions from employees (e.g., regarding salary and vacation leave)
  • perform calculations and corrections
  • daily management and leadership of the operations

Qualifications

  • Vocational education or similar within payroll
  • At least three (3) years of work experience as a Payroll Administrator
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of payroll systems
  • Good knowledge of economic systems
  • Good knowledge of collective agreements
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Meritorious:

  • Experience with the payroll system Personec P
