Job Description

As a Payroll Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring correct and efficient handling of payroll administration for all employees. You work closely with the team leader and colleagues in the payroll department to administer payroll payments, reporting, and support to employees. Your role includes handling payroll-related matters, expenses, advances, and system administration. Together with colleagues in the payroll department, you support the authority in matters related to salary and other compensations. The assignment covers work with the entire payroll chain up to the payroll run (e.g., expense reports, corrections, time logs, various leaves, benefits, certificates, and controls).

We expect you to have worked as a Payroll Administrator for at least 3 years (within the last 5 years) and have good knowledge of financial systems, collective agreements, payroll systems, and have education within payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Process and check payroll data
  • Generate payroll lists
  • Generate reports and statistics
  • Report taxes and employer contributions
  • Compile time and absence reports
  • Answer questions from employees (e.g., regarding salary and vacation)
  • Perform calculations and corrections
  • Daily management and leadership of operations

Qualifications

  • Higher vocational education or similar within payroll
  • At least three (3) years of work experience as a Payroll Administrator
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of payroll systems
  • Good knowledge of financial systems
  • Good knowledge of collective agreements
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Preferred:

  • Experience with the payroll system Personec P
