Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) in Huddinge is looking for qualified teachers to join us in a combined position covering English, Woodwork, and Physical Education (PE). The role involves teaching students in Year 6 through Year 9.

IES Huddinge opened its doors in 2013 and currently has around 500 students in Years 6–9. We are located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, an area undergoing significant development.

We are looking for teachers with a strong enthusiasm for their subject, excellent classroom management skills, and a sincere interest in student well-being. You will be part of a year team responsible for overseeing the academic progress and well-being of the students. We seek a positive and creative team player who is solution-oriented, shares ideas, and is open to learning from others. The role also includes mentoring a group of 16 students.

Teaching at the school is conducted in both Swedish and English, following the Swedish national curriculum (Lgr22). Our student body is diverse, and to be successful at IES Huddinge, you need to have a good understanding of students' different backgrounds and the ability to adapt and plan lessons accordingly.

While teaching is bilingual, it is highly advantageous if you are educated in Sweden and hold a Swedish teaching license. Experience teaching in Sweden and knowledge of Lgr22 are also strongly meritorious.
