About Sandåkerskolan

Sandåkerskolan is located in Häljarp outside of Landskrona, and our guiding principles are Excellent Teaching and Supportive Mentoring. Our subjects are well-equipped with analog learning materials, and we believe that the variation between digital and analog provides a good framework for excellent teaching. The subject group you will join has regular time allocated for collegial exchange, joint assessment, and joint planning. Our student health services are complete with all specialists you will work with for the benefit of our students.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are qualified to teach mathematics in grades 7-9 to replace a colleague on leave. With us, you will find certified, experienced, and skilled teachers, where we see you wanting to be part of driving our school development forward towards Excellent Teaching and Supportive Mentoring.

Your responsibilities will include among other things:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching.
• Document students' knowledge development and analyze results based on systematic quality work. Formative and summative assessment are central parts of this.
• Maintain contact with students' guardians, and collaborate with external actors if necessary.
• Drive our development work together with your colleagues.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for you who, through clear leadership, can motivate and inspire joy in work among our students and create good learning environments. As a teacher, you work goal-oriented based on the curriculum and the students' needs. Through your treatment and your teaching, you give all students the opportunity to develop as far as possible based on their prerequisites.

You have a professional approach and work with evidence-based learning. Where possible, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. You are a clear leader in teaching situations, structured and prepared, but also flexible when needed. We place great emphasis on the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and we would like you to be a team player who believes in collaboration and can work without hierarchy together with your colleagues.

Competency Requirements

• Certified teacher with subject qualification in mathematics for grades 7-9.
• Good knowledge in your subject areas.

In addition to these requirements, it is meritorious if you have experience in teaching and mentoring.
