Summer job in functional support – A job that makes a difference!

We are looking for dedicated summer workers who want to work within care and support for people with disabilities – either in residential care with special support or in personal assistance. Here, it is about spreading joy and security, while gaining invaluable experience that you will carry with you for life.

What does the job entail?

In functional support, you help individuals who need support in their daily lives. You contribute to a secure, active, and meaningful existence for those we support, and your tasks may include help with care, meals, or getting out to activities. You can work in a residential facility or in the home of the person needing support. You may work with the elderly, young people, and individuals with various disabilities.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• Supporting the individual in creating a meaningful daily life based on their life situation.
• Pedagogical support for activities and leisure pursuits.
• Providing care and service based on individual needs.
• Performing health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation.
• Documenting in the digital journal system Lifecare.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you with a suitable educational background, such as Child and Youth Care, Nursing Program, or other equivalent education. We also welcome those who have worked with us before or are simply curious to try working in healthcare.

To provide our care recipients with a good and meaningful daily life, we are looking for you who have:

• A positive view of people and good interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity, caring qualities, and the desire to make a difference.

Experience from similar work is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you are engaged and want to help create a meaningful daily life for others.

Information

We are looking for summer workers for the period week 25–33, and we would prefer that you can work the entire holiday period. Shifts can be scheduled during the day, evening, weekend, or night. Please state in your application which weeks you are available to work.
