About Killebergsskolan

In January 2025, Killebergsskolan moved into completely new premises in the northern part of Killeberg. The building also houses Trulsagården (Killeberg's preschool) and the public library. The school is located between a sports field and a forest, boasting a fantastic outdoor environment. For the autumn term, approximately 90 students will attend the school, distributed across grades F-1, 2, 3, 4, and 5-6. The school and leisure-time centre share premises, fostering close collaboration among all staff. The leisure-time centre is divided into two sections: Kvistarna and Stockarna.

Responsibilities

In the role of Leisure-Time Centre Teacher, you will, together with other educators, be responsible for teaching. Your main task is to create quality-assured, engaging, and enthusiastic teaching based on the goals of the curriculum and the school's annual calendar. Together with your colleagues at the leisure-time centre, you will plan and lead break-time activities. Part of the role includes accompanying classes to Parkskolan in Osby for lessons in physical education, crafts, and music.

You work based on democratic values and consider what the students want in the leisure-time activities. Your relationships with students are characterized by mutual respect, collaboration, a trusting approach, and positive expectations. You actively participate in collegial learning and systematically reflect on your work individually and with others, linked to the goals of the activity. Documentation of the leisure-time centre activities is included.

Qualifications

You are a qualified Primary School Teacher with a specialization in leisure-time centre work and hold a teaching license. Experience from previous work in a leisure-time centre is meritorious, as you are expected to independently plan, implement, and document your work, as well as manage leadership in the leisure-time centre/classroom.

You are well-versed in and adhere to the ethical principles for teachers, have the ability to promote democratic values, and assume that all children/students are of equal value. You have the ability to inspire, create interest, and meet children at their level. Good communication skills, sensitivity, and teamwork abilities are required to build trusting relationships with contacts both inside and outside the school.

Personal suitability is given great weight.
