Study and Career Counselor for SFI Students – Burlöv Municipality

Burlöv is an exciting municipality in the growth region between Malmö and Lund. We have a close organizational culture that enables and emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a sustainable working life. Together we develop our operations and create value for our citizens.

Do you want to help build an attractive, accessible, sustainable, and safe Burlöv?

We collaborate closely with leading Swedish researchers regarding teaching development in preschools, primary and secondary schools, and adult education. We are bold and test new innovative ideas such as VR in teaching. We consider movement in both new construction and the development of outdoor environments, and offer movement analysis to our staff. We carry out early interventions together with social services and have a joint mobile team to help students with problematic absenteeism. We follow up on goal fulfillment and act on our results. We work to become proficient in trust-based leadership and have close leadership with few employees per manager.

At Komvux in Burlöv, approximately 600 students study basic and upper secondary education, vocational training, and Swedish for Immigrants (SFI). Teaching is conducted in flexible study formats, and guidance before and during studies is a central part of the operations.
