About the role

As a Facility Technician, you are responsible for the daily operations of Intea's properties. Intea owns and manages the majority of the properties in the university area, with the University of Halmstad as the largest tenant. Other tenants in the portfolio include Halmstad Municipality, the Swedish Transport Administration, American High School, LBS Creative High School, and others.

In this role, you will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, playing a key part in ensuring optimal facility operations. The tasks are varied and include building automation (including ventilation), practical maintenance, and general property care. You will work with planned interventions and preventive tasks, such as fire safety work and energy optimization, as well as ad hoc tasks coming in via the case management system.

You will be based at Trade Center, where your colleagues are located. Working hours are 07:00–16:00.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience from similar roles, such as facility operations or technical property management. You have relevant education in facility technology, building technology, or similar, and hold at least basic electrical qualifications. Knowledge of control and regulation technology and/or energy optimization is highly meritorious.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoy working with others. You are service-minded and contribute to a pleasant work environment for both colleagues and the tenants you interact with.

You are practical, unpretentious, and thrive in a varied daily routine where you feel confident handling both planned and urgent tasks.

Intea is an entrepreneurial real estate company that develops specialized social infrastructure for vital societal functions, such as the justice system, healthcare, and higher education. Intea in Halmstad has been active since 2016. The current portfolio consists of a total of 18 building blocks distributed across 9 properties.
