Lund University was founded in 1666 and is consistently ranked among the world's leading universities. We have approximately 46,000 students and 8,500 employees in Lund, Helsingborg, and Malmö. We are united in our strive to understand, explain, and improve our world and people's conditions.
Workplace Description
The Structural Proteomics Unit at BioMS Lund (https://www.lu.se/lucat/group/v1001196 (https://www.lu.se/lucat/group/v1001196)) is part of SciLifeLab's platform for integrated structural biology (https://www.scilifelab.se/structural-biology/ (https://www.scilifelab.se/structural-biology/)). The unit offers access to advanced equipment and expertise for the analysis of protein interactions and protein conformational dynamics using mass spectrometry.
The Structural Proteomics Unit conducts commissioned research for researchers and companies in Sweden and the EU, where our main analytical techniques are hydrogen/deuterium exchange (HDX) and cross-linking-based mass spectrometry.
We are a national Swedish research infrastructure providing research services to create insight into the function of macromolecules and thereby contribute to a greater understanding of diseases. The unit is funded by SciLifeLab, the Swedish Research Council (BioMS), and Lund University.
What We Offer
Lund University is a government agency, which means you receive special benefits, generous vacation time, and a favorable occupational pension. We also have a flexible working hours agreement that creates good conditions for balance between work and leisure.
