Do you want to help train the production engineers of the future?

We are currently looking for an experienced educator or industry expert for a assignment within vocational higher education (YH), with a focus on sustainable production.

The assignment involves planning, conducting, and examining an introductory course in sustainable production for students in production technology and production development.

About the assignment

The course aims to give students a basic understanding of sustainable production and its significance within modern industry.

Examples of areas covered by the course:

• Sustainable production and industrial development
• Basic methods and techniques in sustainable production
• Key concepts and models
• Industry 4.0 and its impact on sustainable production
• Opportunities and challenges within the industry of the future

The assignment includes:

• Developing course structure and course materials
• Conducting teaching
• Creating examination assignments
• Assessment and grading
• Collaboration with educational leadership regarding course implementation

Scope

• Course period: August–September 2026
• On-site teaching in Södertälje

We are looking for someone who

• Has current and relevant competence in sustainable production, production technology, or a related field
• Has experience from industrial operations
• Has pedagogical skills and can explain complex issues clearly
• Has experience in education, supervision, or competence development for adults, preferably within YH, university, or business
• Is structured, engaged, and accustomed to working independently

Merits

• Experience with vocational higher education programs
• Experience with Industry 4.0, digitalization, or sustainability work within industry
• Experience with examination and course development
