Description

The main task of the administration is to convey knowledge and create conditions for students to acquire and develop their skills. The education should promote students' development into responsible individuals who actively participate in and contribute to professional and societal life. It should also contribute to the students' all-round development.

Role Responsibilities

Plan and teach classes within the IB (International Baccalaureate) program in Mathematics. A formal teaching degree is advantageous but not mandatory. Prior experience with the IB program is not required.

Important Information

All teaching is conducted in English.

High School Administration

The High School Administration operates under a joint board for the municipalities of Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen. The administration is responsible for upper secondary education and adult education in these three cooperating municipalities. We are a school with highly competent staff and good student results. We focus on students' knowledge development and have strong confidence in the teachers' abilities. Currently, the operations include 14 national programs, introductory programs, sports high school, adapted high school, adult education, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), and distance university studies. The school has approximately 1,100 students in upper secondary education and approximately 600 students in adult education.
