Job Description

The specialization in Computer and Communication Technology provides students with the skills to professionally install, administer, maintain, and repair computer and communication systems, as well as knowledge of information security. The specialization also develops students' ability to work with systems for presenting data, images, sound, and interactive technologies. This specialization can lead to professions such as network technician, technical salesperson, support technician, and service technician.

As a vocational teacher, you work to ensure that students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their prerequisites, preparing them for their future professional roles. Your work includes planning, teaching, and assessment, as well as evaluating and developing the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents.

Together with your colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the school's quality and development work.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Vocational teacher education with eligibility to teach in electrical technology and programming.
• Alternatively, a completed education in the relevant teaching area deemed relevant by the employer.
• Several years of professional experience from the current industry.
• Very good subject-specific knowledge.
• Experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Experience of teaching in the relevant subject.
• Experience of other teaching or pedagogical work.

Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and listen attentively to your surroundings. You understand how students' backgrounds, cultures, and previous experiences affect learning and interaction, and you create an inclusive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
