I am looking for an assistant who is fun to be around, as I myself am socially active with both friends and my assistants. I love music, concerts, being active, and sports.

I understand everything you say, but I communicate myself using a PODD device, body language, and a letter board. I am very clear in my communication, so I am looking for someone who is attentive and clear in their responses. It is important to me that you speak Swedish so that we understand each other.

I need help with everything in my daily life, such as dressing and undressing, hygiene, meals, and communication. In addition, I need support at my day activity center. I can walk independently with support from my assistants. On weekdays, I attend my day activity center and participate in a running group.

My assistance consists of double staffing for most of the time, which means you will work together with one of my other assistants. However, solo work may occur when there are vacancies. Some simple medical tasks are included as I have epilepsy. Previous experience with epilepsy is advantageous.

I am looking for someone who is:

• Someone who listens to me.
• Fun and able to joke around.
• Able to cook.
• Able to help me take responsibility for myself at the day activity center and at home.
• A plus if you can play an instrument, but most importantly, if you share a passion for music like I do.
• Willing to learn about my medications and how to administer them.
• Someone who can remain calm around me. If you are unsure, ask me or the colleagues you work with.
• Good at remembering routines and important details.
• Someone who asks if there is anything you are unsure about.
• Creative and able to suggest new activities.
• Willing to plan my days together with me.
• Someone who wants to stay for a long time and does not want to change assistants constantly.
• Familiar with epilepsy seizures is a plus.
• Someone who stays calm when I have a seizure. Do not get stressed; hold me and speak calmly.

About the position: You will be employed at 75% and will work according to agreement on a rolling schedule with 30 hours/week. This might suit you if you are studying or working part-time already and see this as a fun and educational side job.

Working hours are:

Weekdays day/evening and weekends day/evening. Hours may change in exceptional cases during activities.

Your workplace will be both at my home in Bromma, and you will accompany me to work.

Salary: Agreement Fremia-Kommunal, individual salary setting. To be employed, you must present a valid ID, a police certificate (background check), and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden.
