RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you our next star?

We are looking for an engaged and ambitious after-school center teacher with a focus on art or music. You will be part of the after-school center's work team, and most of your duties will be linked to a specific grade level.

As an after-school center teacher at Emiliaskolan, you have your own teaching during school hours and serve as a pedagogical resource in the classroom. In the afternoons, you are responsible for creating a safe, inspiring, and developmental environment for the students during their time in the after-school program.

The daily work consists of, among other things:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating learning at the after-school center.
• Teaching with all associated moments such as planning, analysis, and assessment.
• Serving as a pedagogical resource in the classroom.
• Maintaining contact with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Contributing to the development of the activity through innovative thinking, initiative-taking, and goal-oriented work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a certified after-school center teacher who is confident and clear in their role. This means you actively contribute to the students' social and personal development through learning, creating, and play. You are a clear leader who works with low affectivity and is attentive, focusing on meeting each student's needs. You collaborate well with colleagues, guardians, and students to promote a good learning environment and strengthen relationships.

Competency Requirements:

• Educated and qualified as a preschool/school-age educator (Fritidspedagog)
• Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish

Experience working with students aged 6-9 is desirable. Another merit is swimming proficiency, as swimming instruction may occur.
