Together, you take joint overall responsibility for the students and the teaching by identifying and removing obstacles in the learning environment. You analyze the results from screenings and assessments and plan support measures and adjustments based on this analysis for students in need of support. You will also collaborate closely with special educators and assistant principals in F-3, and together you will follow up on the results of teaching and interventions at both individual and group levels as part of the systematic quality work.

Qualifications

You, as a candidate, hold a special needs teacher degree with a specialization in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language and are a certified primary school teacher for grades F-3. Previous experience working as a special needs teacher in lower primary school is an advantage. You have good knowledge of and interest in language acquisition, as well as experience working with language-developing methods in teaching. You have very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's steering documents and apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical abilities. Your approach is inclusive. Your teaching is modern and creative, aiming to reach and find strategies to strengthen students' knowledge. Since we view collaboration between teachers and special needs teachers as a success factor for our students, you take joint overall responsibility for the students and the teaching by identifying and removing obstacles in the learning environment. You develop your work and teaching based on evidence-based research and proven experience. You work systematically to plan, implement, and evaluate your interventions. You can analyze student data and are comfortable with systematically documenting and following up on students' knowledge development over time.

We look forward to receiving your application!
