The Department of Psychology is now seeking a University Lecturer in Psychology for a fixed-term position lasting 6 months.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include teaching at undergraduate and advanced levels within degree programs and standalone courses, with a particular focus on supervising student theses and projects. The position also includes other teaching-related duties such as lectures, seminars, examinations, course coordination, and administration.

Qualifications

Requirements for the position are:

• A doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Documented pedagogical competence.
• Five weeks of higher education pedagogical training or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way, unless there are special reasons.

The position specifically requires documented competence in Psychology in general, as well as experience in teaching, examination, supervision, and administration at a university/college level. Furthermore, very good proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required.

Great importance will be attached to good teamwork skills, initiative, and independence. Consideration will also be given to the applicant's ability to integrate research, education, and innovation into the operations, as well as to contribute to the department's continued development.

Merits for the position include good knowledge of the Department of Psychology's operations and broad experience in teaching within Psychology.

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Conditions

Fixed-term position of approximately 40% during the autumn semester (6 months). Start date: August 1st, or as agreed.
