Business Gymnasium in Malmö is an exciting and dynamic school located in the heart of Malmö, offering an education that prepares our students for further studies, success in entrepreneurship, and leadership. We are now looking for a teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language who wants to contribute to providing our students with a high-quality education. We are currently in an important development phase where your involvement is significant, and we are making new investments in many areas. Here, you will have the chance to grow professionally and contribute to the school's development towards our established goals. We work collegially and in close collaboration with industries and organizations outside the school, with high involvement from both staff and students.

The position is a maternity leave substitute for 70%, with the possibility of extension, full-time work, and permanent employment in the future.

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants to teach your subject areas in an inspiring way and has good subject and pedagogical competence.
• Is engaged in your subject's role in society and communicates this to the students.
• Keeps up to date with the latest in your subject area and wants to teach in a realistic and subject-integrated manner.
• Wants to create inspiring and adapted teaching that challenges and develops students while building trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.
• Plans, documents, and conducts your teaching in accordance with the guidelines regulated by the steering documents for upper secondary school in the Swedish National Agency for Education's course plans.
• Wants to help create a modern and innovative school environment.
• Wants to inspire hope for the future and new ideas among your students through your teaching.

Qualifications

You have a teacher's degree and teacher certification in your subjects, as well as solid subject competence.

As a person, you are secure, curious, and have the ability to build good relationships with young people and young adults. You have a pedagogical approach, are a role model, and have good communication skills. The work requires that you are structured, engaged, and able to take initiative and complete started tasks. You thrive in a job with high demands on cooperation, sensitivity, and independence.
