In 2025, we transitioned from being a music school to becoming a cultural school. With just over 230 active students, we are in an exciting phase of development to give more children and young people the opportunity to explore and express their creative selves.

In addition to teaching, you will also be involved in the projects we carry out in the municipality. Your responsibilities also include recruitment, planning, contact with guardians, and administrative tasks related to your role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a relevant pedagogical education or other education/experience that the employer deems suitable.

You have experience teaching both beginners and more advanced students.

It is important that you have a well-developed pedagogical and creative ability, as well as a good understanding of how children and young people learn and the different prerequisites for their learning.

You have good cooperation skills, are receptive, and easily understand and put yourself in others' perspectives. You are confident in yourself, structured, and independent in your work.

You also have the ability to see the big picture and understand how your work relates to the rest of the organization.

Employment type: Permanent position.

To ensure the quality of our recruitment process, we work with a competence-based recruitment tool. We will review the selection continuously and may call candidates for interviews and appoint the position before the application period has ended.

Union representatives can be reached through the municipality's customer service at 0435-280 00.

We would like you to attach grades and certificates relevant to the position in your digital application. If you are called for an interview, you must also be able to show a valid driver's license for the current service vehicle, if this is a requirement for the position.

To work with us, you must show a valid passport, national ID card, or personal certificate together with an identity document at the employment interview. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EES or Switzerland, you also need to bring a work permit.

We are looking for you who have the competence to contribute to our operations regardless of gender, age, ethnic affiliation, religion or other belief, sexual orientation or disability.

We apply individual and equal pay depending on experience, competence, and market conditions.

For everyone's comfort, our workplace is smoke-free.
