Description of Duties

In the role of a teacher with us, you will play a key part in shaping and developing our pedagogical environment. Since the school is newly built and we work with a modern, somewhat non-traditional approach regarding furniture and pedagogy, the position involves both the joy of creation and requires flexibility.

Pedagogical Work: Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for grades 1–3 or 4–6 in accordance with Lgr22. You adapt the teaching to the flexible learning environments.

Teamwork: You are part of a close-knit work team where you share responsibilities, collaborate on student groups, and plan the operations jointly.

School Development: You help establish the structures for our new way of working. You actively contribute to evaluating and refining methods and environments to find what works best for our students.

Student and Parent Contact: Create secure relationships, conduct development conferences, and maintain close dialogue with guardians.

In the event of a Senior Teacher position: Work together with the school leadership to drive pedagogical development across the entire school and act as a mentor/coach for colleagues. This may also include cross-administrative tasks where you receive assignments extending beyond the school's boundaries.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for grades 1–3 or 4–6.

• Subject Competence: Relevant subjects for the current grades and preferably broad competence.
• Experience (meritorious): Experience working in flexible learning environments, cross-professional teams, or in starting up new activities.
• For Senior Teacher position: At least four years of well-recognized work as a certified teacher, as well as documented ability to lead pedagogical development.
