Eskilsby School is located in a rural setting among green hills, horse pastures, and close to forests and lakes. Our yard invites play and challenges with climbing structures, hills, rocks, bushes, and green areas. Eskilsby School is a small school with few students in grades Pre-K to 2.

Eskilsby School and the after-school center are located on the same grounds as Eskilsby Preschool. We have close cooperation between the school/after-school center and the preschool in daily operations. We have joint activities, and there is an open atmosphere where both school-age children and preschoolers feel secure with the unit's educators.

At Eskilsby School, we strive for the children to feel safe and respected, and for both children and adults to have fun together. The educational environment should be challenging, providing opportunities and space for the children's own choices and nurturing their desire to create. A strong commitment and interest in working in a smaller unit is a prerequisite for working with us.

Your Role

Together with the work team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on activities at the after-school center. During school hours, you collaborate with class teachers regarding the students.

You need to have an inclusive approach and meet each student based on their conditions and needs.

You can participate in shaping the schedule.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for you who are educated as a youth leader (fritidsledare) or alternatively as a childcare worker (barnskötare).

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record register must be presented. An extract from the suspicion register may also be required depending on the position.

You want to, in an engaged and curious manner, contribute to developing the work towards the after-school center's goals.

You are receptive and have the ability to see each child's individual needs and conditions, both individually and in the group.

You are an engaged educator with good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards both children, guardians, and colleagues.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
