Job Description

We are now looking for a certified primary school teacher for the leisure-time center (fritidshem) to join our team for grades 4-6!

Your duties include teaching art and collaboration in grade 4 during the school day. At the leisure-time center, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for teaching at the department for grades 4-6. At Monbijou School, we work in grade-based teams where primary school teachers, leisure-time center teachers, and student health teams collaborate to support every student's learning and well-being. As part of the leisure-time center team for grades 4-6, you will, together with your colleagues, ensure a well-functioning operation with a varied range of activities within the framework of the Leisure-Time Center Curriculum. As a leisure-time center teacher, you are also responsible for creating safe recess periods and planning and leading recess activities. In this role, you will contribute to developing an stimulating pedagogical operation and, together with your colleagues, drive the pedagogical work forward in both school and leisure-time center.

At Monbijou School, you will receive close leadership from the principal and deputy principal, collegial collaboration in teams, clear structures for meetings, planning, and development work, as well as active support from the Student Health Team (EHT) in daily operations. Here, there is a culture of keeping the student's learning and well-being in focus through responsibility, participation, collaboration, and flexibility in daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher for the leisure-time center with the qualification to teach art. If you have experience working as a leisure-time center teacher, we consider this an advantage. It is important that you are interested in developing the operation through collegial learning at our leisure-time center. You are a confident and clear leader among students, solution-focused, and contribute to creating a good work climate together with your colleagues. You have good insight and knowledge of the governing documents for schools and leisure-time centers and know how to apply them effectively in daily work. Your teaching is modern and creative, your work is developed based on evidence-based research, and with good familiarity and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. At our school, it is important that you are skilled at building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Most students are enrolled in our leisure-time center, which is organized by grade for grades F-3 and by stage for grades 4-6. Monbijou School is the big little school in the heart of Malmö.
