Children and young people are important in Ludvika! We demonstrate this by making children and young people the hub of the municipal organization. Most resources directed towards children and young people have been consolidated under a single board. This includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and individual and family care. What all these operations have in common is a conscious quality work aimed at continuously developing and improving the work with children and young people.
We are looking for a certified special needs teacher for Lorensbergaskolan grades 7-9
The Workplace

Job Responsibilities
As a special needs teacher with us, you have a varied and responsible daily routine. You work both close to the students and strategically together with colleagues and management. Your main tasks include:
- Teaching: You meet students in both small groups and in the classroom, focusing on creating accessible learning environments.
- Documentation & Analysis: You are responsible for conducting assessments and creating action plans that actually make a difference in the student's daily life.
- Student Health: As an important part of our Student Health Team (SHT), you contribute your pedagogical perspective to promote health and learning throughout the school.
- Pedagogical Development: You are a driving force in creating and developing successful learning environments together with other staff.
- Collaboration: Together with your work team, you are responsible for planning, execution, and documentation of student learning.
- Mentorship: You have an important role as a mentor, where you follow and support the knowledge and social development of a number of students.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified special needs teacher with eligibility for the secondary school age. You have a secure pedagogical foundation and see close collaboration with colleagues as a natural prerequisite for creating the best conditions for our students.
