Job Responsibilities

To thrive at Sjöby School, it is important that you are a person who adapts to different situations and contexts, finding win-win solutions that benefit as many people as possible through a goal-oriented focus on the common objective.

You also work in a process-oriented manner, knowing where you and your class are, where you are going, and having clear planning for how you will get there together. This means you are also willing to develop and change your own working methods if it is best for the students' results. You organize and plan your work well, complete what has been started, and take responsibility for the shared work at the school so that daily life functions "as well as possible for as many people as possible".

You are a secure person who can also handle difficult conversations with both students and guardians. You have the courage to stand up for your work and the school's work, and you can distinguish between issues and personal matters.

You take active initiative in various relationships, such as contact with new students, guardians, and other authorities that may be affected by the school's operations (e.g., social services, special educational needs authorities) or other partners such as teachers and mentors.

You quickly find solutions to emerging problems and contribute to being part of a collegium where collaboration is the most important key to success, and where all students are everyone's students.

Qualifications

• Approved teacher education with a corresponding teaching license (must be attached to the application).
