RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you, a student assistant, who can work independently but in close consultation with the teachers at the school. In your role as a student assistant, you will be responsible for working with students inside the classroom or in other premises. In the classroom, you work closely with a teacher; when you take students out, you naturally take leadership in the small group.

You will work to help students with their schoolwork during lessons and be present during breaks. You will also have contact with parents/guardians. Other potential tasks include working with psychosocial issues, preventive/promoting work, incident cases, group dynamics, student conversations, and focusing on relationship building with students. We have several vacant positions for the upcoming school year.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education as a student assistant or other education that the employer deems equivalent. It is meritorious if you have experience working with this target group, as well as if you are familiar with the school's guiding documents. Your personal qualities are also important.

To succeed in the role, you must be a calm and secure person with high personal maturity. The tasks place high demands on your ability to take initiative, act quickly, document, work flexibly, and have good collaboration skills. It is necessary that you are confident in your profession, and therefore we believe you have a few years of experience in qualified work where your role has been to support, coach, and lead individuals and groups in various contexts. It is necessary that you are a person who does not give up, but who has the ability to persevere and endure in your work.

You have the ability to structure, plan, and prioritize your tasks yourself, and you are accustomed to working independently. You have a well-developed communicative and pedagogical ability, and we also believe you have a high ability to develop good relationships.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and express yourself well both orally and in writing. Being multilingual is meritorious.

An extract from the police record for preschool and school must be presented before employment can be offered.
