We are now looking for a teacher in Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies (SO).

Your role with us

As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learn and take personal responsibility. With engagement and enthusiasm, you create a secure learning environment based on mutual respect and cooperation, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom.

The teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important pillars. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching to the level of all students, with a focus on the student's best interest.

Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep up to date with events in the outside world and the daily lives of young people. Alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. You systematically reflect on practical work and, together with colleagues, drive development work in the work group/school. You also have a shared responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.

If you are new as a teacher, you are supported by a mentor for the best guidance in the work, and you as an unqualified teacher can conduct teaching but not be responsible for it. Responsibility for grading lies with a certified teacher.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you with a teaching certificate with the qualification to conduct teaching in grades 4-6 in the subjects Swedish, Mathematics, and Social Studies (SO) in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for you who have subject knowledge at the university level in the above-mentioned subjects. It is meritorious if you have pedagogical education at the university level. We would like you to have experience in conducting teaching, preferably within primary school and working with children/young people aged 10-13.

You have the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's prerequisites, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, peace and quiet, and a desire to learn. You have engagement, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the outside world.

A success factor is that you can create trusting relationships both in and outside of school. Furthermore, you are a secure pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the work group's way of working for constant development.

Naturally, you use digital technology in teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure the work based on the stated goals.

As a person, you are communicative, receptive, and well-versed in the ethical principles for teachers, and you have a talent for analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge.

To allow us to decide on your application, you must attach your degree certificate and teaching certificate. If there are no qualified certified teachers, you as an unqualified person can be employed temporarily according to the Education Act. When we want to offer you the position, it is required that you show an extract from the police's criminal record to allow us to employ you, according to regulations in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
