Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We are now looking for temporary substitutes for preschools and schools in Umeå Municipality. As a substitute, you are an important resource who contributes with security, learning, and joy – every day!

As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at different workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary/secondary schools, based on both the operations' needs and your own availability. What does the job look like? The best part – no day is like the other!

Preschool:
You work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special educators to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years.

Primary/Secondary School (Grades F–9):
You are responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity, and professionalism, as well as good teamwork skills with teachers and other pedagogical staff.

The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå Municipality's preschools, primary/secondary schools, and after-school centers. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime.

Requirements for the position are:

• Completed upper secondary school grades or a completed childcare education
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• A valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register
