YOUR NEW JOB

Diamanten is our leisure and short-term care activity within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The assignment at Diamanten is to carry out leisure activities for children with various needs during the day. This can involve outdoor activities, crafts, games, or similar. Short-term stays include support in daily tasks and finding suitable activities. Short-term stays are often scheduled around the clock, which means you will work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Work may also take place within other operations in the LSS area. By contributing your knowledge and experience, you are also involved in the development of our operations.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for you who have education from the Child and Youth Program, Care and Nursing Program with an emphasis on disability care, or education in pedagogy/psychosocial areas. Experience in similar work or work with children with disabilities is a requirement.

You need to be able to work independently by taking initiative, taking responsibility for your task, and planning and organizing the work. Since the users' needs vary, you need to be able to adapt quickly in your work. To thrive in the role, you also need good pedagogical skills and great patience. You need to be able to understand others' perspectives and work with low-affective handling. It is also important that you have good cooperation skills.

As a residential supervisor, you need to be confident in using the computer as a work tool.

REQUIREMENTS

• Category B driver's license
• For this position, you must present a valid extract from the Police's criminal record and suspicion register before employment.

Diamanten provides short-term supervision and short-term stays for children, young people, and adults with functional variations. As a residential supervisor with us, you will become part of a knowledgeable work group, and you will also have contact with other professions and relatives.
