Personal Assistant for Man – Skellefteå – Large Schedule Availability

We are looking for personal assistants for one of our clients in Skellefteå. The schedule will primarily cover evenings and nights (15:00–07:00). Overnight shifts may also occur.

Working Hours and Scheduling
The workload is agreed upon individually. We prefer candidates who wish to make this their main occupation, working up to 90%. However, if you are looking for a smaller schedule, that is also of interest. You should be available to work for most of the summer.

The Assignment

The client has 24/7 assistance and needs help with most aspects of daily life – everything from transfers, personal hygiene, to household chores. The client is fully verbal and communicative but is paralyzed from the chest down. The client has some function in the arms but cannot grasp objects.

You should be social, proactive, and preferably have prior experience from healthcare. Some transfers and position changes can be physically demanding, so good physical fitness and knowledge of correct lifting techniques are advantageous. This is generally a very calm workplace where the client spends a lot of time at home.

Chemistry and shared values and sense of humor are important to the client. There is also a cat in the home, so applicants with allergies cannot apply.

Working Hours

Shifts are typically 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–07:00 (we primarily have evenings/nights available). On-call duties during parts of the night may apply.
