ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are currently looking for a Personal Assistant for our client in Umeå. The position is a permanent part-time role at 75%, with working hours scheduled during day and evening shifts on weekdays. You will also work every other weekend.
The working hours are scheduled as follows:
- 07:00–15:30
- 15:30–22:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer if you could begin your introduction period soon.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a woman who lives an active family life. She resides in the central part of Umeå. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the client's life and home, where your main task is to provide the support needed to create a safe, independent, and active lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- Support with daily routines, such as household chores and cooking
- Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
- Help and support with mobility
- Support during exercise
- Leisure and social activities

REQUIREMENTS
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Experience with children or childcare
- Must be free from pets due to allergies in the family
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in care, elderly care, or personal assistance
- Valid driver's license and access to a car
Employment level: 1 permanent position at 75%, starting as soon as possible.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a Swedish Personal Registration Certificate (Personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the Personal Registration Certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
