Do you want to use football to make a real difference?
Skellefteå FF wants to use football as a force for positive social development. We are now looking for a Project Coordinator who wants to develop our social initiatives with a focus on young people, inclusion, and safer environments.
In this role, you will drive projects from idea to implementation within areas such as youth participation, social responsibility, and violence against women. You will create engagement, build collaborations, and keep the work together with colleagues and external partners.
About the Company
Skellefteå FF is a club with high ambitions both on and off the pitch. Through football, we want to contribute to positive social development and create safety, community, and hope for the future. Our initiatives are particularly aimed at young people and issues concerning inclusion, gender equality, and social sustainability.
Here, you will become part of an engaged organization where ideas are allowed to grow and where you have the opportunity to make a real impact.
Your Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, you play a central role in initiating, driving, and developing the club's social projects – from idea to implementation and follow-up.
The position is a permanent employment consisting of 75% work with social projects and development, and 25% work related to the club's events. Working hours are partly scheduled for evenings and weekends and follow the needs of the operations as well as the agreed schedule.
This means you will work with:
- Coordination and development of social projects both nationally and internationally.
- Contact with participants and partners.
- Administration, planning, and follow-up.
- Creating structure and driving the work forward together with other staff.
A part of the role also involves work regarding the club's activities and events, for example:
- Planning and coordination of the club's other events.
We are looking for someone who sees themselves thriving in club life with varied tasks where you can combine social engagement, people, and structure.
Your Background and Qualities
We are looking for you who are engaged and have strong personal drive. You take responsibility, drive the work forward, and thrive in a role where you combine structure with flexibility. You are good at collaborating, building relationships, and working with people, while also being able to keep several parts together. You are motivated by contributing to development and a more inclusive society.
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Are self-reliant and take responsibility for driving the work forward.
- Have good collaboration skills and build trusting relationships.
- Are structured and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
It is meritorious if you have experience of project management or coordination, working with young people, or from club life, sports, or civil society. Experience in social sustainability, gender equality, or inclusion, as well as administration, events, or business development, is also a plus. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
